Q: What unique holiday tradition does your family have?

Sam Deskus:

Every Christmas Eve, when I was younger, my little brother and I would go over to our neighbor’s house to see our friends. We’d all sit down and our friend’s mom would read us Christmas stories when his dad would go outside and ring these bells. We all got excited thinking it was Santa, so we’d run home and get to bed to wait for Christmas morning.”

Jaelen McLeod:

“Every Christmas, I go to Laurel Hill which is about a two-hour trip, and I just enjoy some time with my family.”

Griffin Lafayette:

Every Christmas Eve, my parents, sister, aunt, grandparents, and I get together and we go to a Chinese restaurant for dinner.”

Layla Dehrab:

“My brother goes to UNCG so every Christmas I take a train to visit him. We usually eat Chipotle while I’m there.”
