The Howler

About

Mission

The Howler at Wakefield High School is a diverse group of student journalists working diligently to provide unbiased and accurate news coverage to the students and faculty at wakefield and to the surrounding community. We strive not only to inspire thought-provoking conversations about deeper issues affecting those around us but to also give a voice to the voiceless.

Open Forum for Student Expression

The Howler newspaper is a public forum for student expression. Our student writers and editors make content decisions without interference from school officials, unless these decisions are unlawful or seriously disruptive. See the Student Press Law Center for more information.
