The Howler at Wakefield High School is a diverse platform principled on student expression for the entire Wakefield community. The Howler strives to deliver reliable information to the widest range of students possible on issues relevant to Wakefield.

The Howler newspaper is a public forum for student expression. Our student writers and editors make content decisions without interference from school officials, unless these decisions are unlawful or seriously disruptive. See the Student Press Law Center for more information.

How to submit to The Howler

Wakefield is a vibrant, diverse community, and we would be thrilled to include your voice in our paper. The Howler accepts editorial articles for the Opinions section.

Articles are usually 400 to 800 words, but submissions of any length can be considered. Submissions may be sent by email to [email protected].
