Wakefield’s swim team held their first meet of the season on Tuesday, November 15 at the Triangle Aquatics Center. Wakefield went up against Leesville, Middle Creek and Sanderson High School. Though Wakefield did not get the win, with the women’s team coming in second, the men’s in fourth, and the team overall in third, it was still a success.

Several swimmers achieved personal best times, and swimmers such as sophomore Scotia Brown, senior Caroline Kozobowski and the 4×100 yard freestyle relay team of Brown, Kozobowski, Rose Sciaudone and Macy Organ won their events.

The swim team is excited for the season and hopes to be better than ever this year. Come support the Wolverines at their next meet on December 6 at the Triangle Aquatics Center, where Wakefield will take on Leesville, Holly Springs and Cary High School.
