Hi! My name is Maya, and I’m a senior at Wakefield High School- however, this is my first year with The Howler. Aside from my long-lived passions of reading and writing, I have also dedicated a lot of time to fostering puppies from my local animal rescue. However, this wouldn’t be possible without my incredibly supportive family and friends, who mean the world to me. Their support will be even more necessary this year, in which I am excited to expand my journalism skills past fitting standards and towards creating my own.
