If you remember me from last year, this will be a video series where I’ll share delicious yet allergy-friendly recipes from my own home kitchen, since I myself am sensitive to gluten and dairy. I’m excited to be jumpstarting this school year with a fun fall meal, courtesy of Allrecipes, obviously involving…pumpkin! Tune in to discover our mysterious autumn delicacy.
Ingredients:
- 1 box gluten-free pasta
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 extra tsp. olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. garlic
- ¾ cup water
- ½ cup white wine vinegar
- 1 ½ tsp. sage
- 1 ½ cups chicken stock
- 1 ½ cups pumpkin puree
- ¾ cup dairy-free creamer
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
