Brooklyn Talbert may describe herself as an introvert, but her impact and dedication to her interests is anything but reserved.
Talbert, a senior, is a lover of all things Disney, music and animals, but she also enjoys school. She has taken an interest in both animal science and Adobe Visual Design.
“Those classes are what I find the most joy out of,” Talbert said. “I love the teachers and I have a good relationship with them, which one hundred percent makes the class more enjoyable.”
In addition to her interest in technology, Talbert has a strong bond with animals — specifically dogs.
“I work at a vet [hospital], and I’m trying to become a technician there,” Talbert said. “If anyone has pictures of their dogs or cats, I always love to see that!”
Although she is always up for some one-on-one time with her close friends and family, Talbert feels as though she can be herself most openly when around her furry friends.
“I always feel that I’m in the right place when I’m with animals,” she said. “I can be myself. Nothing can be better than having dogs around me.”
A hard worker with a bright personality, Talbert is destined to make an impact on countless lives as she continues to learn and explore her goals.
“It doesn’t have to be huge, but I want to make a difference in my own community,” Talbert said. “I always try to go above and beyond and push myself — not for other people, but also just for me.”
