With Halloween right around the corner, we all want to kick off the season with a bang. Haunted houses are a popular version of that experience. This list of haunted attractions in the area is sure to get you spooked and ready for October 31. 

 

Panic Point

This haunted attraction is well known by all and a popular place to go to during the spooky season to experience scares. This attraction is a 20-minute drive from Wakefield High School and has 5 different sets to share. The tickets come in at $30-$45 for general admission tickets and $50-$75 for VIP admission. This is a great place to hang out with your friends if you’re looking for some scary haunts and a great time. 

 

Granville Haunt Farm

In comparison to other haunted houses in the area, this one is very unique. This is a drive-thru experience where your favorite characters from the big screen come to life right outside your car. Granville Haunt Farm is about a 40-minute drive from Wakefield and is priced based on the number of people in your vehicle. The price starts at $10 for 1 passenger and goes up to $25 for 3-4 passengers with an additional $5 charge for every person after 5 people. This experience is outside the box and is worth your time and money. 

 

Clayton Fear Farm

This haunted experience is great for groups due to its haunts and fair prices. It is about 45 minutes away and has 4 attractions. Tickets are priced at $25 per person for an all-inclusive experience. This is a great option if you are looking for some scares with a group of friends or family. 

 

Darkside Haunted Estates

Darkside Haunted Estates is a family-friendly experience that is great if you are going with younger kids. They have 11 attractions and it is about a 45-minute drive from the school. Adult tickets are $25 and $40 for VIP and kids’ tickets are $15 and $30 for VIP. This is a great option if you are going with family and are bringing along some younger kids who may not be ready for the more intense places. 

 

Kersey Valley Spookywoods

This attraction is a longer drive, but it is worth it for the 16 sets they have! It is about an hour and a half drive from Wakefield High School. Tickets start at $30-$40 for general admission, $45-$60 for a fast pass, and $60-$75 for an all-inclusive ticket. If you have the time, this is a fun option to do with your friends.

 

Woods of Terror

This is the last attraction on our list and the longest drive coming in at about two hours. They have 12 sets and ticket prices are $30-$45 for admission, $45-$60 for a fast pass, and $60-$75 for all access. This is a great option if you are willing to go on a long drive with your friends or family and have the time.
