Spring brings new beginnings and a fresh start after a long winter inside. Nothing is more exciting than trying something new, like a spring craft or activity. Whether that be a nice stroll in the park or a craft, these activities will surely get you in the spring spirit.

Picnic

With the weather warming up, it is the perfect time to grab a blanket, basket and a couple of friends – or even your pet – and plan the perfect spring picnic. Make an entire day out of it and bake your own food to bring along with you, from smoothies and pies, the possibilities are endless. Not only is the food important, but so is the music! Curate a list of songs that bring you joy to be the backdrop of the picnic. Perhaps music is not the way to go, but rather, listening to the sounds of nature. Either way, this is sure to be a relaxing way to jump into spring.

Flowers

Nothing is more iconic than flowers and spring – they’re a pairing nobody can deny. Spruce up your house with a fresh, homemade bouquet. Grow and pick your own flowers, or buy some from the grocery store, but assembling your own bouquet adds a unique touch that nobody can recreate. If that seems daunting, perhaps flower pressing is a better option. Choose a flower that best speaks to you and lay it between some parchment paper. Then, place a book or another heavy object on top and wait. Before you know it, a perfectly preserved flower is ready to be used as decoration.

Farmers Market

One of the most fun ways to spend a spring day is at a local farmers market. Whether you are there to browse or buy, it will surely be an exciting time. The smells of popcorn and fresh fruit waft through the air as everyone strolls along, looking for local foods, odds and ins or crafts.
