What are you most proud of when considering this artwork?

I’m proud of the lighting on the trees.

Where do you find inspiration as an artist?

Video game character designs and environments are fascinating to me. I also find inspiration in my pets.

When did you begin drawing? What made you begin?

I started drawing when I was 4 or 5, and I began because I thought it would be cool to be able to create any character I wanted.

What’s your favorite piece of art made by another person?

It changes over time, but currently, I am really enjoying the instruction manual from a game called Tunic. A bit of a weird answer, but the attention to detail especially in respect to a specific puzzle is really nice.

How have you progressed throughout your life as an artist? 

I’ve gained a fascination with weapons and armor through the influence of video games, and over time I’ve gained begrudging respect for environmental pieces.
