Q: What made you decide to teach?
A: I have always rooted for the underdog and I know a lot of students have a lot of issues learning so it gives me an opportunity to help them and see them graduate
Q: What does your typical workday look like?
A: I have curriculum assistance during first period. I have 12 students and that’s where they can learn study skills, organizational skills, and they can work on work from other classes.
Q: Tell me about your background.
A: This is my 19th year in education, I have taught all levels from K-12, and I have taught special education at all levels.
Q: What brought you to Wakefield?
A: I just moved back to Raleigh from Orlando and I like what Wakefield stands for. It seems like a lot of the students are passionate about Wakefield and the high standards they hold.
Q: What do you like to do outside of school?
A: I currently live downtown so I like going to different festivals and restaurants. I also enjoy reading in my free time.

A: Do your work, participate, and ask questions
