David Dobrik of YouTube

Traditionally, YouTube has been a platform where creators would sit in front of a camera and speak about their topic of choice. David Dobrik brought a new style of videography to YouTube by bringing the Hollywood fame to his videos. He started entertaining on a platform called Vine. When Vine died, Dobrik moved to YouTube and most of his fans followed.

Dobrik was born in Slovakia, but grew up in Chicago. He has three siblings but does not see them much due to them living in another state. When they are in the vlogs, it makes for a great video. They are as funny as he is. His assistant, Natalie Mariduena, is his childhood friend who he trusts with everything.

Dobrik vlogs his crazy life in Los Angeles, California with his friends, called the Vlog Squad. Dobrik and his friends do things crazy things to entertain the audience. Dobrik does spontaneous activities like go to Las Vegas, gets his friends new cars and goes to fans birthday parties to surprise them. Everyone knows him from the white Tesla he drives. All his videos are 4 minutes and 20 seconds long. They are fast paced which is what makes them so fun to watch.

With only four years in the YouTube game, Dobrik is considered new but that will not stop him from being known. He has over 10 million subscribers. David Dobrik and Liza Koshy were dating, but have taken a break as of late 2018. They were YouTube’s power couple but fans hope they will get back together. Dobrik lives one crazy life but we sure do love watching how it all plays out.
