Fuzzy Slides

In 2017, the trend of fuzzy slides came into style. This past year it became a huge trend that girls wear slides that are colorful and fuzzy. I am not really sure what made this trend so popular, but many people choose to wear these slides with no socks in the freezing cold, but I guess the hypothermia is worth it. The slides come in all different colors, from a bright orange to cool blue. They are comfortable, colorful and can turn a “bummy sweatpants Friday” into a “stylish sweatpants Friday.”  Although there are many people that are wearing them in the freezing months of winter without socks, fuzzy socks are a new style of footwear which I think will be around for a while. The slides have fuzzy parts on the outside and towards the top of your foot which are good for warmer weather because your feet won’t get too hot.

I was not aware fuzzy slides were such a big trend until people started wearing them to school. There are ads all over social media such as Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat, which will bring you to websites where you can purchase these slides at affordable prices. I have never seen them worn with socks but since the weather is getting colder, it might be a smarter idea to try that if you plan on wearing fuzzy slides. I would never be able to wear open-toed shoes without socks in the middle of December but if looking stylish or starting a trend is that important to some people, then go for it.
