As the holiday season approaches, coffee and tea lovers venture to Starbucks to taste Starbucks’ famous seasonal drinks. After Starbucks’ success with their fall treats and drinks, Starbucks is proud to announce their Christmas drinks and food for the end of the 2024 year. With popular drinks such as their Peppermint Chocolate Mocha and their new Cranberry-Orange Refresher, there are more than enough holiday treats for everyone to enjoy. However, to many people’s dismay, the drink’s contents do more harm than good. With its heavy sugar content and increase in calories, consumers look for alternatives to their usual Starbucks treats. Here are six holiday drinks that you can order this holiday season.

Peppermint Mocha

  • Swap 2% milk for almond, oat, or coconut milk.
  • Request 1 pump of peppermint syrup instead of three.
  • Skip the whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte (already plant-based and lower in calories)

  • Reduce sugar by asking for 1 pump of syrup instead of three.
  • Replace sprinkles with a dusting of cinnamon.

Iced Gingerbread Oat Milk Chai

Cold Brews with Holiday Cream Cold Foams

The key is to reduce syrups, choose plant-based milks, and skip high-calorie toppings to enjoy holiday flavors in a lighter way!
