High School Musical: The Musical: The Series

If you were born in the early 2000s, then chances are you have heard of “High School Musical.” This movie was one of the most successful Disney Channel original movies ever and continues to be immensely popular. 

If you are like me and cannot get enough of “High School Musical,” then “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” should be right up your alley. Released in 2019, this heartfelt series tells the story of a group of theater kids who go to the same high school where the original “High School Musical” was filmed. 

This July, I was ecstatic to hear that the third season of the show had come out. This season took a turn from the original as they all went to camp for the summer to put on a performance of  “Frozen.” 

One thing that makes this show so great is the cameos from cast members of the original “High School Musical” franchise. So far, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and Kaycee Stroh have all made appearances in the show and it is rumored that even more will appear in season four, which is set to be released in the summer of 2023. 

This hit TV show teaches a lot of valuable lessons to its teenage audience and hopes to continue to provide entertainment in many seasons to come. Season three was definitely one of the best television shows in 2022.
