Q: What is the National Honors Society?
A: The National Honor Society serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Q: How do you join the National Honors Society?
A: NHS is open to any junior and senior with a GPA of 4.0 or higher. To apply, they just need to fill out the application on our website which can be found through the WHS Club Directory. The Faculty Council then meets to review the applications and determine acceptance before we induct new members in October.
Q: What is the goal of the National Honors Society?
A: Our goal is to continue to challenge these students to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
