Will Dennis

When freshman year started it seemed like I’d never get out of high school. I couldn’t wait to be an upperclassman and eventually become a senior. Now that that time is here I couldn’t be happier. However, I also have a feeling of sadness because I know I won’t see a lot of people I grew up with and became friends with and made many deep bonds with.

 After high school, I will be leaving for the United States Marine Corp. Newspaper has taught me many valuable lessons such as researching, staying neutral while still providing and learning information, and how to put my point across better.

 I am grateful for the chance to be a staff writer and grow as a writer and as a person with my fellow staff members. As high school ends I won’t look back on it wishing I could go back, but rather I will look back on it with a bit of bittersweet joy in remembering all the good times I had and the memories I made.
