Fine Line by Harry Styles
Harry Styles released his second solo album Fine Line on December 13. The English singer-songwriter’s album stayed number one for two weeks, through the beginning of the decade. Fine Line features twelve songs including “Lights Up”, “Watermelon Sugar” and “Adore You” all of which were released as singles before the full album.
In 2017 Harry Styles made his solo debut with a self-titled album, beginning his transition from teenage boy band heart-throb to a developed independent artist.
Through Fine Line, fans are able to experience the singer’s emotional, vulnerable side. The album covers a variety of life experiences, from breakups and hookups to sadness and Styles’ personal memories.
His unique rock-pop sound continues to draw worldwide attention and his relatable, catchy lyrics are now forever stuck in the heads of fans. In April 2020 Styles will set off to perform all throughout Europe and the Americas on his tour, entitled “Love On Tour.”
My personal favorite song is “Cherry.” The song displays the pure, raw heartbreak that Styles experienced following his breakup with Camille Rowe. Not only do the lyrics hold great emotion, so does the gentle track and softness of Styles’ voice.
Fine Line is easily one of the best albums of 2019.
