The Howler

Jasmine Wilson-Johnson
Hi, my name Jasmine Wilson-Johnson and this my first year on The Howler here at Wakefield High School. As a part of different activities, including Wakefield Track & Field, I have been exposed to a lot of different learning opportunities and continue to learn from different experiences. Growing up, I always had a passion for sports and wanted to pursue a career in Sports Journalism, so what better outlet than Newspaper! I feel like growth is very important in life and I know that being on the Newspaper will help me to achieve that growth that I am yearning for.

“The battles that count aren’t the ones for gold medals. The struggles within yourself - the invisible, inevitable battles inside all of us - that’s where it’s at.” - Jesse Owens
