Dan Howell (danisnotonfire) and Phil Lester (AmazingPhil) internet royalty of the YouTube world, jumped onto bookstore shelves alongside their fellow YouTubers last month.

When The Amazing Book is Not on Fire hit U.K. stores on October 8 and the rest of the world on October 13, it flew off the shelves.  It became a number one bestseller in the U.K., a mere ten days after its initial release, and became a number one New York Times bestseller nine days after its worldwide release.

The Amazing Book is Not on Fire is not your typical autobiography. It’s over two-hundred pages long in full color and features information about the childhoods and past experiences of the two web stars. From their births to their present lives as YouTubers, Howell and Lester provide an entertainment factor that allows their personalities to shine through while sparking readers’ interests.

Amongst the crazy stories of their past, the book includes interactive activities, never-before-seen photos, and exclusive content that is sure to appeal to any fan wishing to immerse themselves into the “World of Dan and Phil.” While some of their content may come off as childish, it is still obvious that the pair try their best to appeal to an audience of all ages.

Along with the release of their book, Howell and Lester have also begun their U.K. tour. The Amazing Tour is Not on Fire includes a ninety-minute theatrical performance as well as a meet and greet for VIP ticket-holders. Dan and Phil have disclosed that they would like to take the tour around the world; as they would like to meet as many of their fans as possible.

It just goes to show that even though YouTubers mainly work through the internet, they still manage to find ways to interact and make personal connections with every individual fan.
