All responses by Allia Heikal, President of Muslim Student Association

Q: What is your history with the Muslim Student Association at Wakefield High School?

A: I started Muslim Student association back up again when I was in freshman year. I had the idea when I realized the club had faded away over the years.

Q: What is your personal goal for MSA?

A: I wanted the Muslims of Wakefield to have a safe space and to feel like a part of a community.

Q: What is the mission of MSA?

A: I strive for this year’s MSA to be more impactful for our members, and to have them benefit and gain enrichment through our chit chats, and discussions, and welcome all students of Wakefield.

Q: What do you want the students of WHS to know about MSA?

A: Muslim or not, with open arms we invite you to gain knowledge on our religion and remove the previously learned stigmas that surround Islam.
