Yasine Mirmozaffari, Staff Writer

With summer approaching, many are planning their summers out and concerts are a hot topic. Here I’ve compiled a list of the most popular concerts:

The High Road

One of the most highly anticipated hip-hop/rap concerts of the summer is “The High Road” starring Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg. The rap concert is featuring other notable artists like Kevin Gates, Jhene Aiko, Casey Veggies and DJ Drama.

This concert will take place July 26, 2016 at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre Raleigh, NC

Spread The Love Tour

One of the earlier country concerts this summer, but definitely one of the most popular ones, “Spread The Love Tour” starring Kenny Chesney and Old Dominion. Old Dominion has their hit song “Snap Back”, Kenny Chesney will be performing “Till it’s gone.”

This concert will take place May 21 , 2016 at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre Raleigh, NC

Kill the Lights Tour

Luke Bryan ends the Raleigh summer country concert series with two back-to-back shows that fail to disappoint. Though seemingly going on tour alone, there is sure to be an opening act announced soon.

This concert will take place September 2 and 3, 2016 at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre Raleigh, NC

The Endless Summer Tour

G-Eazy and Logic; Those two names alone would be enough to sell a show out in itself, but along with them this summer is YG and Yo Gotti. These artists broaden the spectrum of rap fans. Though only performing in one North Carolina city this year, Charlotte, the “Queen city” is sure to attract fans from all over the state.

This concert will take place July 19, 2016 at PNC Music Pavilion

FlatBush Zombies

Soon after dropping their sophomore album, 3001: A Laced Odyessy, the Flatbush, NY natives are going on tour. Gaining a lot of popularity during the past year, Flatbush Zombies are also a highly anticipated performance this summer.

This concert will take place May 20, 2016 at Lincoln Theatre Raleigh, NC
